Monthly trade missions connecting two great start-up communities.

From Monday 15th February, we will be running monthly trips to create opportunities and build relationships that can enable future trade and partnership opportunities.

The event will be structured around three activities, the trip in a coach with other like-minded entrepreneurs, a workspace for the day, and an evening mixer with beers and an interesting speaker or two.

The trade missions are being delivered through the Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, in partnership with Welsh ICE, and Cardiff Start.

Our first event will be delivered in partnership with KTN UK – who are kindly providing us with a space to work from and meet potential partners, clients, or investors, before we move around the corner to the Chapel Bar on Penton Street to hear from Neil Cocker, founder of Cardiff Start and Ramp Commerce, and Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, on why it is valuable to connect our communities.

An added perk for any start-ups joining the trip: you get a year’s membership to Enterprise Nation included in the entry fee! This offers a huge range of additional support for start-up businesses, you can learn more here.*

As part of the ticket cost, which includes the coach, coffees on arrival, use of the workspace, and a ticket to the evening event, you will also receive a year’s Enterprise Nation membership, offering support, advice, and access to future events way beyond the coach ride home.

Spaces are limited, so get planning your agenda and filling your diary to ensure you make the most of the trip.

If you want to book a ticket, register here on Eventbrite, or add your email address to our mailing list to be kept up to date with other trips and activities.
