On Christmas Jumper day, today’s ICE Advent charity could only be Save the Children

Today, Welsh ICE members have donned their favourite festive jumpers to raise money for them. Please sponsor us by texting TEAMWELSHICE to 70050 to donate £2. It really does make a difference.

Let’s get silly for a serious cause.

save the children christmas jumper day

Get a group together, dress up in festive knits on Friday 16 December and show the world your silliest side.

People everywhere will be getting in on the act and donning Christmas jumpers. The butcher, the baker. The school administrator. Your teacher. Your boss. Your dog. Everyone, basically.

By donating £2, you’ll be helping to save children’s lives. And the more you raise, the more children we’ll be able to help – so why not do some extra fundraising on top? Whether you’re at home, at work or at school, pretty much anything goes – from homemade 3-d reindeer antlers, to that jumper your nan gave you last Christmas

Whether you’re at home, at work or at school, pretty much anything goes tlers, to that jumper your Nan gave you last year.

You won’t believe your mince pies when you see how much your pennies and pounds could help to provide. It gives children from Surkhet district, mid-Western Nepal, pictured, access to after school clubs which help to educate them about the dangers of child marriage.

It could also help us bring essentials like healthcare, education, protection and food to the millions of children around the world who are missing out on the most basic support.

Every year, millions of children around the world die before their fifth birthday from easily preventable diseases like malaria, diarrhoea and pneumonia. Many more are forgotten simply because they were born in the wrong place, or because they are girls, refugees, disabled or from a minority. We won’t rest until every last child gets the chance to grow up healthy and happy. Your support will help us achieve our goal.
