ICE aims to help entrepreneurs create hundreds of jobs, and make a real difference for people in Wrexham. We need your help.

Join us on the 12th of July and be the first to learn more about our plans for a new coworking hub in Wrexham.

The thought of starting a business can be a daunting challenge and to many, the idea of sacrificing a steady salary for the uncertainty of self-employment can seem unrealistic to most. This event will provide budding entrepreneurs and local start up enterprises with the opportunity to see an alternative to the boring office job that you hate and discover some of the support that will soon be on offer in Wrexham for startups and people who want to develop their ideas.

Working with the Welsh Government, we aim to recreate the success of our centre in Caerphilly, to support around 100 new innovative start-ups in Wrexham over the next two years, and provide a significant boost to the local economy. We’ll offer them a bespoke package of business support and a space for like minded entrepreneurs to develop their ideas.

Gareth Jones

Founder and Director of Welsh ICE, Gareth Jones, will be taking questions and sharing further insight into into how the centre will work. He said:

“We’re excited that after five years we are going to be opening our second centre in Wrexham. Our aim is to further our work with the local community, partners at Welsh Government and Business Wales to help anyone with an idea for their own business, no matter how big or small, to make positive steps towards launching their own start-up.”

The Hub will provide a community for entrepreneurs that will link to the wider ecosystem including Glyndwr University, Coleg Cambria, industry and support agencies in the region. It will also provide entrepreneurs with international trade support, high quality business advice, intercompany and individual networking opportunities, and mentoring and training support.

Join us from 6 – 8pm at Undegun, 9-11 Regent St, Wrexham. To find out more, call us on 02920 140 040 or email [email protected].
