Exciting news for the budding entrepreneurs of Caerphilly, as Welsh ICE and Caerphilly County Borough Council join forces to launch a special cohort of the 5-9 Club! This innovative 8-week after-hours program, set to kick off on January 23, 2024, is designed to equip young visionaries aged 16-24 with the tools, guidance, and camaraderie needed to turn their business dreams into reality.

This dynamic collaboration between Caerphilly County Borough Council (CCBC) and Welsh ICE, the 5-9 Club stands as a testament to the commitment of both organisations to foster entrepreneurial spirit among the youth. It’s not just a program; it’s an opportunity for aspiring business leaders to immerse themselves in a supportive, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment.

Scheduled every Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the comprehensive curriculum of the 5-9 Club covers every facet of launching a business. From idea generation and sales tactics to marketing, branding, online presence, business planning, and the art of effective pitching – participants will receive a well-rounded education from industry experts. Moreover, invaluable insights on securing funding and navigating the legal intricacies of entrepreneurship will be shared.

At the end of the programme, participants get to present their ideas to seasoned experts. This culminating week promises not just industry insights but also valuable contacts and constructive feedback that will act as a compass guiding these budding entrepreneurs on their journey.
