Congratulations to ICE members Help4Wales Foundation & My Discombobulated Brain who have both been shortlisted in the Not for Profit category at the Cardiff Regional Awards.

The Regional Awards aim to hold annual events in each region of the UK which recognises the amazing work done on a daily basis by individuals and businesses.

A three point system will be used for judging which includes public votes, questionnaire score card and a judging panel all combining together to provide a fair and common sense formula for evaluation.

This award for not-for-profit organisations aims to support their amazing causes and their contribution to our community.

Help4Wales Foundation is a non-profit, community interest company that has been set up to support the community and individuals in need. They deliver a number of local services that support vulnerable people and families within Wales. Last year the team scooped the New Business Start-Up Award at the Monmouthshire Business Awards.

Director Jemma Shepherd said:

“Amazing news to be a finalist in the Regional Awards Not for Profit category. This is an amazing opportunity for us and we wish all finalists good luck.”

My Discombobulated Brain aim to support young people, their friends and families in their mental health conversation; to help them learn how to speak about how they feel and to provide tools to recognise and approach the topic of mental health.

Director Laura Dernie said:

“ It’s an honour to be shortlisted for the second time. Hopefully this will be our year!”

The Regional Awards will be held at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff on Wednesday 18th April 2018.
