The Wales Start-Up awards is different to many others in Wales. It gets away from the usual black tie approach to business awards and was held in an informal setting at the award-winning Depot in Cardiff, an entrepreneurial start-up business where street food and craft beer from Welsh enterprise was served to attendees.

Campus Director Jamie said:

“I’ve always been proud of how Caerphilly punches above its weight when producing world class businesses, but to see 5 Businesses from the ICE stable pick up awards on a national level is staggering.

We’ve always maintained that collaborative working and being inspired by others is key to growing a business, I’m proud to say that these awards back this claim up.

Congratulations to Dylan and Liz for throwing yet another incredible awards night!”

On winning Social Enterprise Start-Up of the Year, founder of Help4Wales Jemma Shepherd said:

“We were so happy to win this award as we were up against some amazing organisations. It is so nice to know the judges recognised the impact we have to support individuals to rebuild their lives.”

Managing Director of EverTrek, Andy Moore said:

“Super happy about winning the award and even though I wasn’t there to celebrate it as I’m 12’000ft up on a mountain in the Himalayas it still feels awesome!”
