Welsh ICE members dominate Caerphilly Business Forum Awards Shortlist

We’re incredibly proud to share that an amazing THIRTEEN of our members have been shortlisted as finalists at the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards, more than double the amount of finalists in previous years.
The Caerphilly Business Forum Awards are considered one of Wales’s most hotly contested and prestigious business awards. Rewarding success and recognising business excellence within Caerphilly County Borough over the last 12 months. This year, ICE members were also given the opportunity to enter a category exclusive to businesses based at Welsh ICE.

Community Manager Jamie McGowan was thrilled at the huge news for Welsh ICE and said:
“Every year, we have a great time at the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards and this year will be particularly special with so many members of the community shortlisted. We’re incredibly proud of everything the businesses here achieve and of the huge impact they’re having in both Caerphilly and across Wales. It’s going to be a hell of a party next month!”
Managing Director of Wize Virtual Admin, Cariann Emanuelli has been shortlisted as a finalist at the Awards for the fourth year in a row, this time in the Welsh ICE Business of the Year category. She said:
“To me this is the hardest category as we are such a close community here at ICE. Being a part of Welsh ICE from day one has been great and seeing both companies grow side by side is amazing!”
Panda Education have been shortlisted in the Start-up Business of the Year up against fellow member Signum Health. Director Ros Protheroe said:
“We are thrilled to have been shortlisted in the CBF Start Up of the Year Award. We have had a fantastic first year in business, and being a part of the Welsh ICE community has really supported us to achieve our goals and have some fun along the way!”
This year Caerphilly Business Forum will be celebrating the 16th anniversary gala awards dinner on Friday 17th November 2017, hosted by BBC Wales TV Presenter Jamie Owen and held for the first time at Llechwen Hall. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
