Great news! ICE member the Caerphilly Observer has been shortlisted as Independent Community News Service of the Year at the Wales Media Awards.
The independent newspaper has won the award twice before and is hoping to make it a hat-trick.
The Awards will be presented at a prestigious black tie Ceremony hosted by broadcaster Dermot Murnaghan at the Mercure Holland House Hotel, Cardiff on 31 March 2017.
Richard Gurner, Publisher and Editor of Caerphilly Observer, said:
“Getting nominated once again for this prestigious award is a huge achievement for us and we are really excited to be in the running.
“We’re a relatively small team, but together we punch way above our weight in terms of our editorial coverage and this has been recognised with our nomination.”

Good luck, Richard!
