Cinemerse have been shortlisted at the Wales Startup Awards in two categories!
The cinematic video production company was shortlisted in the Creative and Digital Start-Up of the Year category whilst Managing Director, Rhiannan Falshaw-Skelly was shortlisted as Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
The Wales Start-Up Awards were launched to recognise the achievements of the entrepreneurial individuals who have spotted the opportunity and taken the risks to launch a new product or service, and who are often the unsung heroes of the business community.
On being shortlisted, Managing Directors Rhiannan and Connor said:
“We are thrilled to be shortlisted for Creative and Digital and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. We have always gone the extra mile for our clients and due to the nature of our business, our work takes us everywhere, anytime! This award would mean the world to us and be a special homage to the midnight edit sessions, the wet and wintry film shoots and the hundreds of hours of commitment we have poured into producing cinematic, immersive video content.
Welsh ICE has been an enormously helpful and supportive network that has helped our business flourish and grow. We will always be grateful for all the wonderful people we have met and the great relationships we have built with each other. Running your own business is not easy, but with enough support and insight from fellow business owners we can forge an exciting future for ourselves and the next generation of entrepreneurs”
In the last year, Cinemerse have been selected as one of the top 100 small UK businesses and were invited to Downing Street to exhibit their work. In November they were a finalist at the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards and went on to win selection at Cardiff Mini Film Festival, Cinema LA, Canada’s World Cinema Festival among others.
They’ve also been flying high working internationally with projects in Shanghai, Vegas, Faro and more.
