ICE member and Caerphilly based comic writers Cosmic Anvil have successfully had their kickstarter funded. The team behind Age of Revolution will use the money to release a printed volume of their first seven issues designed to be both a treat for existing fans and an easy jumping-on point for new ones.
The volume will include all seven issue covers, development sketches of the characters, script pages, a world map, variant art, and much, much more unreleased goodness.
With the first complete story arc approaching release in their seventh issue, creators Huw Williams and Hannah Collins thought this was the perfect time to collect together all seven issues in one neat package.
They said;
“We’re absolutely ecstatic that the project has been fully funded and completely exhausted from all the work promoting it and nagging people over the past month! We would like to send a million thank you’s to all of our backers for their support as well as everyone who shared or helped us get the word out about the campaign, especially the CDF, who despite being super busy running their own successfully funded campaign, did a lot of tweeting about us too.”
They also gave us a hint as to when we might see the the printed volume;
“We hope to get the volume out as quickly as possible in the next couple of months once we’ve put the finishing touches to the last few pages.”
