We recently caught up with Co-Managing Directors Christine Fitt &amp; Paul Chappell to discuss their story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A little about PCF:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>PCF Training &amp; Consultancy Solutions Ltd offers Health &amp; Safety Consultancy and training provision to support companies with compliance and ensure people have access to quality accredited courses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UKATA Asbestos Awareness (Cat A), Asbestos Non Licensed Tasks Including NNLW (Cat B)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualsafe Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualsafe Manual Handling, Work at Heigh, COSHH etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualsafe Fire Safety- Awareness &amp; Marshall\/Warden etc. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualsafe Health &amp; Safety in the workplace &amp; risk assessment etc. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IOSH- Managing Safely<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abrasive Wheels, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome Awareness (HAVS), Sharps and Qualitative Face Fit Testing etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>They provide professional, practical health and safety consultancy to help ensure legal compliance, as well as support with tender writing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sectors of industry that the training and consultancy provision are active in are that of manufacturing, administration including local authorities, hospitality but also construction. The construction sector covers, Refit, Restoration, New Build and Ground Works. In line with their processes PCF analyse their performance and impact not only on the community benefit but also the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are also committed to providing community benefit and do this in a number of ways, including supporting charities and partner organisations to further community support as well as helping individuals to gain employment via the Construction CSCS card scheme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, PCF was awarded a 3-year contract by Trivallis Housing Association to provide Health and Safety training to their teams. This achievement was the result of a tender process and subsequent practical taster session. In addition, PCF received a marketing grant from Caerphilly County Council to promote their business locally and in the wider business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having exceeded their turnover expectations in the first year of trading, PCF is eager to continue building on their success as they enter their second year. As part of their growth strategy, they plan to expand their team of trainers, consultants, and administrative staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While PCF has achieved significant milestones, they acknowledge that marketing and establishing a social media presence have been their most challenging areas. To address this, they have engaged a social media provider and participated in their first exhibition in April of this year. They aim to become more involved in the ICE Community and foster relationships with other members. As a testament to their expertise, PCF successfully ran an Emergency First Aid at Work course, which received positive feedback from Welsh ICE staff and members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking ahead, PCF recognizes the importance of embracing technology to provide a more immersive training experience.
