Building a successful business doesn\u2019t have to be a solo journey. Newport\u2019s business support programme is rooted in the belief that collaboration and community are key to long-term success!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll highlight how the initiative is helping local businesses grow and succeed by providing high-quality support and connecting them with a trusted network of experts. Through this collective approach, the programme ensures entrepreneurs in Newport have access to the resources, guidance and encouragement they need to build sustainable and thriving businesses.

In partnership with Newport City Council<\/a> and a network of partners, Welsh ICE<\/a> has delivered a business support programme aimed at accelerating growth and entrepreneurship in Newport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funded through the UK Government\u2019s Shared Prosperity Fund, the initiative has already made a measurable impact\u2014supporting 134 start-ups, creating or safeguarding over 95 jobs, and boosting the productivity of 52 local enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tailored Support for Start-Ups and Early-Stage Businesses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This programme is all about empowering local entrepreneurs and helping small businesses reach their full potential. Whether you\u2019re just starting out or looking to take your business to the next stage, the programme offers a range of support designed to help you grow with confidence. By combining expert guidance, practical resources, and a collaborative network, it\u2019s creating an environment where innovation and ambition can thrive \u2014 right in the heart of Newport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Councillor James Clarke, cabinet member for regeneration, said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to announce that it has been agreed that this engaging programme can be extended for another year. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will continue to inspire, encourage and support individuals looking to turn their passion into a business and equip those already operating with the tools, knowledge and confidence they need to grow and succeed.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The programme offers a wide range of business support, including engaging 4-week and 8-week training courses, personalised one-to-one sessions, regular business support fairs, skills-based workshops, and vibrant networking events designed to help entrepreneurs connect, thrive, and prosper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme is strengthened by the invaluable support and collaboration of our esteemed partners. Together, we create a robust network of expertise and resources dedicated to empowering Newport\u2019s business community. We will continue to collaborate with valued partners including University of South Wales, Dragons RFC, Newport Market, Bethel Community Church, The Place, and many more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
