Exciting news! We’re taking an additional 5,000 sq ft of additional space across Caerphilly Business Park to accommodate growing businesses. This means we’ll now occupy the whole ground floor of Britannia House, already home to two coworking spaces, our Accelerator suite and offices across two floors.

The additional space will be aimed at businesses of about four to six staff that have grown too large for single desks in a co-working space, but are not ready for larger offices.

Community Manager, Jamie McGowan said:

“For the past six months, we have been operating at a 95 per cent capacity, so in order to continue to grow, we knew we simply needed more space.

“When the 2,500 sf ft of space became available we jumped at it, and we are now proud to say that we will occupy the entire ground floor at Britannia House.”

The expansion comes at the same time as the launch of our latest ICE50 scheme. After helping over 300 businesses get started, we’ll be offering a further 50 funded spaces to new entrepreneurs.

The 50 start-up businesses will receive a fully-funded package including a full-time desk, a tailored mentoring programme, creative workshops, full telephone and high-speed internet access and one-to-one support for 12 months.

The funding is designed to give start-up businesses a structured route to sustainability, creating jobs and boosting the Welsh economy.
