As 2016 comes to a close, we have one last opportunity for someone to join the ICE team in a unique role focused on helping some of our ambitious community members.

You may have seen our news last week that a number of companies have been successful in raising investment here at ICE, and we want to make sure that the number of companies with high ambitions in our community that succeed each year continues to grow.

This vacancy is for an individual who can assist high potential companies on their way by connecting them with the best support, guidance, and advice to win.

How do you know if this is for you?

We are looking for someone who is a great listener, and communicator. If you can hear someone’s problems, compute them and connect them with appropriate action in the blink of an eye, this role could be for you. You might already know the landscape for supporting entrepreneurs, or you might know very little, we will support you with this, but you will put the needs of the founders first, and endeavour to know about everything happening to feed that back to the member business, allowing them to focus fully on the job at hand.

You may have had a role in a high growth company before, and therefore have seen and felt it for yourself, but this is not essential. We are not looking for someone with a particular interest in a single sector, but someone who is willing to learn and absorb knowledge from the ICE community.

Your role will be to organise and manage events for these members on site, keep members up to date with opportunities they should know about, and identify what other support they could do with before they even realise for themselves.

We anticipate the post being a two day a week role, based here on the ICE Campus, on a three-month rolling contract.

If you’re interested in the opportunity, please send a short covering letter explaining why you care about this role, and brief CV summarising the roles and experiences that you have valued most in your career to the ICE Angels ([email protected]). The deadline for applications is 11:59 on Sunday 27th November, and a more traditional job description is available on request.
