We’ve appointed a specialist administrator to help us manage our business accounts system.

28-year old Keiran Russell joins the team at Welsh ICE to help us in our mission to help small businesses start out both on site at Welsh ICE and across the valleys through the 5-9 Club.

On his appointment, Keiran said:

“I’m super excited to be joining the ICE team working on the Welsh Government Hub contract. I’ve been a member for over 5 years and seen the growth in the community, so I’m looking forward to supporting more start-ups over the next two years.”

Keiran’s no stranger to Welsh ICE, having joined in June 2014, running IT company SnowSpire Solutions Ltd which offered bespoke virtual networking services to video game players in Aberystwyth University. He successfully ran a Kickstarter campaign to fund the largest Video Game Championship in Wales.

He’s also worked with Welsh ICE Alumni Help4Wales Foundation CIC who won the Social Enterprise Start-up of the Year in 2018 at the Wales Start Up Awards. During his time here, Keiran has collaborated with several other ICE members too, delivering courses, joint projects and offering admin and website services.

Campus Director Jamie McGowan was happy to welcome Keiran to the team saying:

“We are incredibly excited about Keiran joining the team. We had an amazing response for this role and as always, were humbled by the quality of people who wanted to join the team. Keiran has always been a member of the ICE community with a number of member businesses and it feels great to have him formally involved in the operation. His eye for detail and excellent customer service will really help him In this role. Good luck Keiran!”

Welcome to the team Keiran!
