My Discombobulated Brain is a charity that aims to tackle the stigma associated with
mental health. We offer a source of support and education to those who are affected
by these issues.
The charity was born from both living and watching
someone you love cope with a mental illness, including
experiencing the stigma that goes alongside it.
Everybody everywhere will be affected by a mental health
condition at one time or another, either personally or
someone we love. Yet so many of us still struggle to talk
about how we feel and the issues that affect us.
Not being able to talk about your mental health can be
very difficult and have real detrimental effects on you
and those around you. The first step in breaking down
stereotypes and helping recovery, as well as helping
others to cope, is to reduce the stigma associated with
something that affects us all.
