Pop-Up Shop
@ Ffos Caerffili
What is it?
Welsh ICE is offering container space to local craft traders in Caerphilly on flexible 28-day leases at Ffos Caerffili.
The initiative aims to provide a stepping stone for businesses, allowing them to gauge market demand and scale their operations accordingly. Moreover, the rental rates for the pop-up shops are significantly discounted, ensuring accessibility for budding entrepreneurs (a significant discount on the regular rate).
This initiative marks a significant step forward in the implementation of the Caerphilly Town 2035 Placemaking Plan, supported by the Welsh Government’s Transforming Towns Initiative.
Ffos Caerffili is Caerphilly’s own container-style market: the first stage in the council’s Caerphilly Town 2035 Placemaking Initiative, aimed at rejuvenating the town centre and attracting more visitors.
The community of Caerphilly is at the heart of this mission, creating more jobs for locals and providing greater footfall for the town. It is being supported by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government, and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, a key component of the UK government’s Levelling Up initiative.
