Welsh ICE members have been given an exclusive category at the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards.

The Caerphilly Business Forum Awards are considered one of Wales’s most hotly contested and prestigious business awards. Rewarding success and recognising business excellence within Caerphilly County Borough over the last 12 months.

Unlike other categories in the awards which are based on business size or sector, the only criteria for the Welsh ICE Award is that the entries be from ICE members. With over 160 businesses based in our Caerphilly Campus, this award recognises the diverse range of talent on offer from our members and gives them an opportunity to showcase themselves to other businesses across the County Borough.

There has already been strong representation from ICE members in previous years at the Awards with both finalists and winners including Service Tracker, Bomper Studio, DW Studio, Wize VA, Noddlepod, Blackwood Embedded Solutions, Happus and others.

Community Manager Jamie McGowan was excited at the huge news for Welsh ICE and said:

“Every year we have a big party at the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards, but it’s great that we’ve now been given a platform to formally recognise our members and amplify what they do across the wider Caerphilly region.”

The entries will be judged by an external panel and we don’t envy them the job of narrowing down the shortlist of finalists. ICE members are free to apply for both the Welsh ICE award and any other relevant categories to them.

This year Caerphilly Business Forum will be celebrating the 16th anniversary gala awards dinner on Friday 17th November 2017, hosted by BBC Wales TV Presenter Jamie Owen and held for the first time at Llechwen Hall. The deadline for entries is Friday the 6th of October. Enter now.
