Welsh ICE is teaming up with our partners to deliver our next Open Day on the 16th of July!

Starting a business is hard. We’re pretty fortunate in Wales to have a number of really great organisations who can support you through the different stages of running a business but travelling around to see them all can be pretty time consuming- time you may not have to spare.

That’s why every two months, we bring all these people together in one place at our Hub in Caerphilly so that you can see them all in one go.

Focusing on business support and training we break our Open Day into two segments; a free drop-in business advice surgery and a cyber security workshop.

PLUS- once more, we’re offering free coworking all day! So if you’re looking for a new, creative space to work on your project, freelance work or business then this is a great opportunity to check out if Welsh ICE is a good fit for you.  Email [email protected] to secure your desk.

Advice Business Expo 10am-12pm

If you need advice on how to start, grow or improve your business, our advice clinic is the place for you! From 10-12pm we’ll bring together all the people you need to see in one room. Our exhibitors can help you wherever you are on your business journey.

Exhibitors include:

Business Wales

Caerphilly County Borough Council

“Alexa, are you making me more vulnerable to a cyber attack?” Workshop 1pm – 3pm

Next up? Our Open Day will sync up with a GRIT session from 1-3pm with Jules Farrow & Daniel Lewis from Awen Collective .

With the increase of smart technology in use in both your businesses and homes, are ‘Internet of Things’ devices like smart speakers, thermostats, light bulbs and even kettles putting us at risk? Cyber security specialists Awen Collective present a talk around how to best protect yourself and your company from the emerging threats of IoT.

Limited spaces available. Book on via eventbrite for free here.

See you there!
