INCOPRO is expanding into offices at Britannia House, supported by a £500,000 investment from the Welsh Government.
The company specialises in brand protection by tracking and removing counterfeit products from the interenet using its Talisman technology platform, which collects, aggregates and analyses data about brand infringement, providing tools for targeted enforcement actions.
They’ll be collaborating with WRi Group in the fight against counterfeit trade. On the partnership, Managing Director of WRi, Graham Mogg said:
“The sale of counterfeit goods undermines local businesses and the U.K. economy and places the public at risk from inferior and unsafe goods
Our co-location and collaboration with INCOPRO at Britannia House allows us to deliver a unique brand protection and investigation service to target counterfeiters operating on both the online and physical environment.”
Welsh economy secretary, Ken Skates, commented:
“As we conduct more of our everyday lives on-line, it is vital we have the systems to protect us from a new wave of criminals.
The services companies like Incopro provide are invaluable, both to the World economy and to the interests of the individual. I am delighted we could support their expansion, and welcome them to Wales, where I hope they will enjoy a successful future.”
