The Project is an independent bar located in Caerphilly – just a stone’s throw from the historic Caerphilly Castle.

Known for its ever-changing selection of craft beers, The Project offers a relaxed and welcoming space where guests can enjoy drinks at the bar overlooking a working brewery, or grab cans to take away. By day, it doubles as a café bar, serving quality coffee and fresh cake.

In the summer, a large beer garden provides the perfect spot to unwind outdoors.

We host regular events including open mic nights, comedy evenings and weekly quizzes, creating a lively and welcoming community atmosphere. We occasionally feature guest pop-up kitchens, offering a rotating mix of street food favourites.

The Project also offers a dedicated private hire area for individuals, businesses and community groups. Seating up to 50 people, it includes its own sound system and access to a large screen, making it a flexible venue for events, meetings, training and more.
