Got a skill, idea, hobby, creative project or side hustle you’d like to explore?
Maybe you make things, fix things, design, cook, create content, help people, sell online, or have an idea that keeps coming back to you. You might not think of yourself as a “business owner” yet, and that’s completely fine.
Future Founder Sprint is a friendly, practical session for young adults aged 18-24 who want to explore what self-employment, freelancing or starting something small could look like in real life.
This is not a formal classroom session. There are no long lectures, no pressure and no expectation that you already have everything figured out. It’s a chance to build confidence, talk through ideas, understand what people might pay for, and work out one realistic next step.
Together, we’ll explore:
- What skills, strengths and ideas you already have
- How a hobby, talent or side hustle could become an offer
- Simple ways to test an idea safely
- What selling online, freelancing, or trading could look like
- Basic money confidence and pricing
- How to talk about your idea with more confidence
- What support is available next
You’ll also have the option to access informal one-to-one support after the session, either online, by phone or in person. You’re welcome to bring a trusted person, support worker or someone who helps you feel more comfortable.
By the end, you’ll leave with more confidence, a clearer idea of what might be possible, and one practical first step towards testing, launching or trading within the next 3-6 months.
You don’t need a business plan. You don’t need all the answers. You just need a skill, idea or spark, and the willingness to take the first step.
The programme includes:
Main in-person session at Welsh ICE: Wednesday, 12th August, 11am-2pm
121 triage: flexible 20-30 minute slots, online, by phone or in person

Efallai eich bod chi'n gwneud pethau, yn trwsio pethau, yn dylunio, yn coginio, yn creu cynnwys, yn helpu pobl, yn gwerthu ar-lein, neu fod gennych chi syniad sy'n dal i ddod yn ôl atoch chi. Efallai nad ydych chi'n gweld eich hun fel "perchennog busnes" eto, ac mae hynny'n hollol iawn.
Mae Sbrint Sylfaenydd y Dyfodol yn sesiwn gyfeillgar ac ymarferol i bobl ifanc rhwng 18 a 24 oed sydd eisiau gweld sut olwg allai fod ar hunangyflogaeth, gwaith llawrydd neu gychwyn rhywbeth bach yn y byd go iawn.
Gyda'n gilydd, byddwn yn edrych ar:
- Pa sgiliau, cryfderau a syniadau sydd gennych chi eisoes
- Sut gallai hobi, talent neu fusnes bach droi'n wasanaeth neu gynnyrch
- Ffyrdd syml o roi syniad ar brawf yn ddiogel
- Sut olwg allai fod ar werthu ar-lein, gwneud gwaith llawrydd neu fasnachu
- Hanfodion prisio a rheoli arian
- Sut i siarad am eich syniad gyda mwy o hyder
- Pa gymorth sydd ar gael wedyn
Bydd cyfle hefyd i gael cymorth anffurfiol un-i-un ar ôl y sesiwn, ar-lein, dros y ffôn neu wyneb i wyneb.
Mae croeso i chi ddod â rhywun rydych chi'n ymddiried ynddo, gweithiwr cymorth neu unrhyw un sy'n eich helpu i deimlo'n fwy cyfforddus.
Erbyn diwedd y sesiwn, byddwch yn gadael gyda mwy o hyder, syniad cliriach o'r hyn sy'n bosibl, ac un cam ymarferol cyntaf tuag at roi eich syniad ar waith, ei lansio neu ddechrau masnachu o fewn y 3-6 mis nesaf.
Does dim angen cynllun busnes arnoch chi. Does dim angen cael yr holl atebion. Y cyfan sydd ei angen yw sgil, syniad neu sbarc, a'r awydd i gymryd y cam cyntaf.
