Start the new year with a practical ideas workshop to reach new customers, reconnect with familiar faces and encourage repeat business.

How do you turn a first visit into a familiar face?

Getting someone through the door once is a good start. Giving them a reason to return matters just as much.

Whether you’re looking to build on Christmas trade or give people a fresh reason to visit in the new year, this practical workshop will help you plan your next steps.

We’ll explore ways to reach people who haven’t tried your business yet, reconnect with customers you haven’t seen for a while and make it easier for people to choose you again.

What we’ll cover

  • Reach new customers: work out who you want to attract, what matters to them and where they’re likely to hear about you.
  • Give people a reason to try you: make your products, services and messages clear and relevant.
  • Encourage another visit: explore customer experience, useful reminders and simple ways to stay in touch.
  • Reconnect with familiar faces: develop a timely reason for previous customers to return.
  • See what’s working: choose a simple way to track visits, enquiries, bookings or repeat purchases.

You’ll work on a customer action plan, with one activity to attract new customers and one to encourage previous customers to return.

Who is it for?

Particularly useful for shops, cafés, salons and other high street businesses that want more first-time and returning customers. Anyone interested in the topic is welcome.
